Jelly and more

Over recent years the growing culture and attention paid to the wine world have led the consumer to being attracted by new com- binations that at times have been a venture, but often curious and intriguing. With this innovative spirit,we have conceived this new enogastronomic product that will allow you to match various cheeses with various jellies and to have fun in discovering a series of flavours and contrasts that should leave the palate clean and with a pleas- ant sensation. These jellies have been made from our Sauvignon, Refosco dal Peduncolo Rosso and Picolit wines, and suggested combinations are as follows.

Sauvignon wine jelly: aromatic and delicate, excellent with soft cheeses such as moz- zarella, crescenza, fresh latteria, pecorino or caprino cheeses. The wine we suggest as a good match is the same Sauvignon or soft, good bodied white wines such as Pinot Grigio. As an alternative, light reds with low acidity.

Refosco dal jelly:tasty and well-structured,it goes well with seasoned cheeses such as mature latteria, Parmigiano Reggiano (Parmesan) or tasty like “Formadi Frant”, Asino, Taleggio or some mature Caprino cheeses. The wine we suggest as a good match is the same Refosco dal p.r.or other average-aged reds that are low in acids and tannins.

Picolit wine jelly:sweet and perfumed,it goes perfectly well with marbled cheeses such as gorgonzola, Roquefort or other very tasty cheeses. The combination is completed with sweet or liqueur-like fruity white wines such as our Picolit, Malvasia Passita or other wines with great structure and aroma.

Have fun !
