FRIULI COLLI ORIENTALI
DENOMINAZIONE DI ORIGINE CONTROLLATA
A vine that has taken root wonderfully in the Friulian land, clearly differentiating itself from the homonymous products of other regions or from Califonia or Chilean Merlot. Intense ruby red colour, very fruitly, it is the classic wine for the whole meal and goes perfectly with red meats and noble poultry roasts. It should be served at 18°C. Contains sulfites.
Vinification: the harvested grapes are de-stemmed, crushed and left to ferment at a controlled temperature (of around 28°C) with the addition of selected yeasts. In order to extract colour from the grapes. After around 10-15 days of maceration on the skin, according to the level of extraction obtained, the grapes are soft-pressed. This wine remain in tank for minimum 12 months after the harvest to be refined before we sell it.
